Kanha Tiger Reserve, located in the Mandla and Balaghat districts of Madhya Pradesh, India, is one of the largest and most well-maintained tiger reserves in the country. Spread over an area of about 1,949 square kilometers, Kanha is known for its thriving population of Bengal tigers and diverse flora and fauna.
Kanha Tiger Reserve is characterized by dense sal and bamboo forests, rolling meadows, and vast grasslands, creating a picturesque landscape that supports a variety of wildlife. Visitors can spot not only tigers but also leopards, Indian wild dogs, barasingha (swamp deer), and over 300 species of birds.

The nearest airport is Jabalpur Airport, approximately 175 kilometers away. From Jabalpur, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Kanha Tiger Reserve.
